I just bought one of these small cherry keyboards. They're very well made,
and about the size of a notebook computer keyboard. I got mine (new) for
$8.95 from bgmicro! These things are >$100 in the Digikey catalog...

You might try ALL Electronics ( http://www allelectronics.com ). They've
got a small (9 inches wide) 80-key keyboard, PS/2 connector on an 8-inch
cord, velcro pads on the back for sticking to panels, etc, for just a few
bucks. I got one of these for a notebook computer rebuild I'm working on.
It's a bit small for extended typing sessions, but for control applications
where you won't be typing a novel, it's fine.
(Page 87 of their current online catalog, price == $9.50)
No affiliation with them, just happy about their service -- 2 days for
normal (non-express) shipping from their California location to my home in
Maryland.
