Here is a header from one of the messages on the first of the EGroups Stamp
Mail List:

Is it possible to remove some of the stuff before broadcasting the messages
to the list? Something like:

>Subject: [basicstamps] Re: Seeking Stepper sources
I don't think we need to be reminded of the EGroup's address 25 times for
each digest, nor do we need to see the MIME stuff either. We have done just
fine without the CLUTTER when the list was on the parallax server.
Just my 2 cents
Vic

If you go to www.egroups.com and "login" you can see what lists you
subscribe to.
Click on Modify Subscriptions
You can change to digest mode but you can also have the e-mail converted to
HTML or not. You can also select "Default" (maybe always text only). This
would be great if it is true because we always have some folks posting HTML
and then that ticks off everyone who can't read HTML mail easily. I'm not
sure if Default means text or not?

the header stuff removed from each individual post (I get the digest
version). The Subject: line is buried in all the other junk, and hard to
pick out when you're scrolling dowen the posts. Id like to see something
like...
----Msg 015
Subj: Blah-blah-blah-blah
From: Mortimer Q. Public
Date: 14 March 2000
"Post goes here..."
and so on.
Just something for the wish-list.
