Toner transfer on Avery label backing paper?

I can't remember who it was (Al?) but a while back someone posted here
about using sticker backing paper for doing toner transfer type PCB
etching. At the time it sounded like a great idea to me. I've used the Dyna
art paper and it works well but is a bit pricey (10 sheets for $28.00US).
Does this method work? Which side of the paper works best for transferring
the toner ie. the 'sticker' (shiny) side or the back? Any other hints or
tips?
All input appreciated, Duncan

Construction Tips (lots of other neat stuff there too -- like my RF remote
control, etc.).
