EB500 Connection Problems with DBT-120 Using XP SP2

I recently bought the eb500 Bluetooth board from Parallax and tried to get it working with my D-Link DBT-120 USB adapter attached to my PC running XP SP2. It wouldn't work as documented in the eb500 manual.
I searched with Google but didn't find anything. Finally, I found the problem on the D-Link site at http://support.dlink.com/SupportFAQ/default.asp?model=DBT-120_revB4 . It turns out that XP SP2 substitutes Microsoft bluetooth drivers for the D-Link drivers. So, once you install the DBT-120 software under XP SP2, you need to replace the Microsoft drivers with D-Link drivers. This process is documented in "DBT-120 Installation into Windows XP SP2", available at ftp://ftp.dlink.com/Wireless/dbt120_revB3/QIG/WinXP_servicepack2/dbt120_InstallationGuide_winxpsp2.pdf.
