On the FAQ it is mentioned that the eeprom life for BS2 is 10,000,000 cycle. Is this correct?

I think this depends a little on the exact part number used.· But that's write cycles anyway.· The number of times the data can be written to.· I'm not sure there is a limit on reads...

The only time this becomes a problem though (Write cycles lifetime) is if you're constantly writing data to the EEPROM (like once every second).

Most eeproms nowadays have a lifecycle of 100,000 writes. Parallax uses quality components so i would not be surprised with 1 million.
