analog servo control....how to get "real time" control?
ok, so lets start by saying that I am truly ignorant on servo control and robotics in general. I have some experience with r/c devices but my current project is a bit different. I am in need of some sort of analog device that can control a dc motor(or servo) in "real time". it is going to be a wired system as apposed to a radio controlled system. I am looking to use a pot or a joystick to control the device, oh, the device is controlling the steering system of a vehicle, so it NEEDS· to be real time, as well as self centering. any help will be greatly appreciated.
