Quadrature encoder ER2000 From Solutions Cubed and BS2
Hi, I´m speaking from Spanish so sorry for my Bad english.
I´m building new robot with DC gear motors and i´m selected a Parallax dist Motor Mind C controller from Solutions Cubed.
My problem is the wheel control to perform an stratight line with the robot , I don´t know about the error on speed turning on each wheel, but its impossible than no minimum error btween them. Because Off i think its necessary to use wheel encoders. Solutions cubed provide quadrature enocders that can attachet to the motors shaft. Solutions Cubbed suggested to connect the Motor controller C to the BS and the ER to BS to control both wheels speed.
Do you think it´s possible with the BS to COUNT Encoder output pulses?
have any ideas to control the speed rotation without maintaining the BS atention during wheels movment?
