Have I fried my bs2?

Playing around with my normally reliable BS2 last night, it suddenly became unresponsive.
I have since tried different power supplies in the belief the batteries were low, but no luck.
When I try to reprogram it, I get the error message "no stamps found".

Strangely enough though -- just before I get the error message, some LEDs I have connected to some output pins flicker briefly.

Any thoughts? I'm really going to miss this thing if it's gone....

Before conducting an autopsy try something simple that should work. Disconnect everything from the Stamp outputs, then look for it for programming. Something might have been overlooked that is pulling down the power supply or such.

(Do you have a voltmeter to check the batteries are good?)

If you still can't find the Stamp to program after this reality check, then its sad to say but it's dead.
