Making Connection with Motors on BS2

Im using the BS2 kit to try and build an automonous minesweeper robot. Ive been following the Roboticsv20.pdf file to the point to which you can connect the servo motors. I had previously purchased my own motors and was looking for instructions on connecting them properly. Unfortunately my motors dont have sockets as the Parallax motors do, just soderable connections. Any ideas on where i could find instructions? And, would it be harder to program control for my own motors?

    Hi,

    Nope Motor control is easy. There are a couple of motor controller board, the Motor Mind B & C - both on Parallax's site. Also a good one using i2c control (very cool) is www.robot-electronics.co.uk

    If your motors are small the Pololu controller is also a good choice.· This article may help:
