Is there a BS2P OEM module

Hey Parallax guys!

You have an OEM module for the BS1, BS2, and BS2sx....is there one available for the BS2P?

They are quite a bit cheaper than the Surface mounted ones (although they're much nicer!).

Just wondering!

Thanks

The reason there's (currently) no BS2p OEM version is that the Ubicom SX48 is not available in DIP format. Soldering SSOP chips is not for beginners, and would likely lead to a lot of warranty returns. We do make OEM chips for the BS2p available, but those are generally sold to manufacturers that are embedding BASIC Stamp guts into their products.

    Thanks Jon,

I'm also guessing that since I'm (at the moment) looking for a one-of OEM BS2P, that it would necessarily be cheap.

I have made my own oem module for the BS2p40. Yes it is a little tricky to solder SMT parts but thats why they make luquid flux. turn.gif
