Search Function does not work?

Hello IT Guy,

Not sure if this is my stupidity or a bug.

I wanted to find a topic I read a couple of days ago.

I remember it was for a Pinewood derby car.

Enter words or Phrases......"Pinewood"

Search for "Posts"

Search keywords using "tried both options"

Maximum number......"50"

Select Forum..."All Forums"

Date Range....."In The Last Month"

It did not find the post for this that is in the Sandbox

Me or a bug?

This is either a bug or a design flaw. The search engine doesn't seem to find a lot of terms that we know exist in the compilation of posts. I cannot find a pattern in the search failures. The search engine is now on my to-do list.

In the meantime, Use google to search within the site to find items in the messages.
Example:
"...Searchterm..." site:forums.parallax.com

a search for 'pinewood' would be...
"Pinewood" site:forums.parallax.com

Hope this works for you guys while the IT guys fix the search feature.
