Hi All,

In the Sept. '04 issue of Nuts & Volts they have a review of a Supercircuits PC300 camera that sells for only $11.95...

http://www.supercircuits.com/STORE/prodinfo.asp?number=PC300XP&variation=&aitem=3&mitem=17

I'm just curious if anyone has purchased one of these and incorporated it into their robots.

Would this camera work with a Stamp?

I'm interested in adding a couple to my 'bots, but not sure if they will work or how to do it..

Any comments and/or suggestions?

Tony

Most of the cameras SuperCircuits sells run on simple 5-14VDC, depending on the camera.· And every one I have seen has a composite output, suitable for connecting to most Video RF Transmitters.· So yes, you could use one for live video feed, but you'd need a transmitter for the Video Signal.

For 30$ you can get an entire kit on Ebay that has a small 2.4ghz cam, with a receiver for your tv/vcr, search "Wireless video"on ebay.

I got one, its pretty nifty

Dave, I've seen some cams on eBay like you specified for that price, but they were all from Hong Kong or likewise, and the shipping was pretty high.· Do you know a local (US) eBay Store that sells these cams?

I got one of these a couple of weeks ago on E-Bay from ctideals. I'm not sure of their location, but the shipping is $15 and my final bid was $29. I figured I couldn't go too wrong. The quality of the signal is good and the range easily met my 100 ft. requirement. Don't expect great things in low light situations, though.
