BASIC Stamp
Has anyone had any luck with or know of a CALLER ID decoder chip that can be interfaced to a BS2. I don't want a whole modem just the Caller Id info.
Thanks
Don

has a 16 pin dip that would be perfect but I can't tell if I would be able to get the timing correct to get the data. SHIFTIN looks like it wants to use it's clock for the timing but the Holtec chip has it's own.

The Phillips chip looks good but its in a SO16 package. I haven't successfully done any surface mount projects.
