I need a part number/supplier for the reset switch used on the BOE revision A.

I need to purchase them in bulk..

    Go to the parallax site, Browse All Products/Components/Miscellaneous and scroll down until you see the little pushbutton.· It is just above the Tact Switch.

    You can get those kinds of switches in bulk from companies like Digi-Key and Mouser.

    Hey Jon,

    You wouldn't happen to have a part number?

    I looked at the Digi-Key site and needless to say making my own switch from a hairbrush, a paperclip, and some twine would be easier than sorting through the specs!· LOL! lol.gif

    I am designing a board that uses the OEM BS2 to drive the outputs...I have modeled the power supply section after the BOE rev A.

    I thought the switch used on the BOE appeared a bit more robust than a numberof others switches of similar type.

    I don't have the part number -- but I do have a Digi-Key (Sep-Dec 2004) catalog ... and the ability to crack it open. smilewinkgrin.gif

    In two seconds I was directed to page 1078 of the catalog, and Figure 1 on that page is identical to the switch on our boards.· There are about 15 options for that board spacing, here's the part numbers I would suggest investigating:

    P8010S-ND
    P10890S-ND
    P12192S-ND
    P12195S-ND

    Okay, now you owe me a Guiness (I'm Irish turn.gif ).

    I have been needing that part number also. Glad you asked!

    Have you come across a part number for the power connectors? I have the NX-1000 24/40 board. The wall wart available through Parallax connects to that board.

    The part number for the power connector that I am using is...

    2.1mm (DigiKeyCP-202A)·

    From what I understand this is a pretty common plug size...however, I am also open to other suggestions....

    Take a look at Digikey's SC1153.· It's the same as what is on the BOEs.
