·Hi Gang:
I am a new user of Parallax products.· Last week I received my "Basic Stamp 2 Educational Starter Kit" and I am on my way with chapter 1 of "What's a Microcontroller" completed.· Big deal, eh!· anyway I plan on working my way through most of the Stamps in Class courses, along with learning Q-Basic on my old 386 Laptop.· All this will keep me busy in the evenings while working away from home in the coming months.· I am a construction inspector and spend lots of time away from home when projects demand it.· I am also an Amateur Radio Operator, so all this should mesh well.

I am enjoying reading the postings on the forum.
Regards,

Welcome!· Q-Basic...Now there's one I haven't heard in a long time...But it does have it's uses.· I myself wrote several utilities, and even a few larger applications in QuickBASIC, which was the commercial compiled version.· Interfaced a few circuits to PCs using QuickBASIC as well...Good luck on your projects!
