Stamp Activity Board Speaker

I am using the Emic TTS speach module (SIP) with the Parallax Stamp Activity Board. I am wanting to use the built-in speaker on the activity board (p11 - BS2). The speach module has·amplified Speaker + and Speaker - differential outputs. Does anyone know if I can connect sp+ output to p11 and sp- to ground with out damage to the speach module.

    You need to use an 8-ohm speaker with the Emic -- doing otherwise is likely to cause damage.

    You are right John, I found the schematic for the board and the speaker is 32 ohms.
