Portability of the Parallax IDE

Is the program updater within the Parallax IDE something portable? I would like to be able to use Eclipse on either Mac or PC to do development with as it's my normal environment -- not that there is anything wrong with the Parallax IDE.

The file area in Yahoo groups is not password protected.· You just need to be a member.· And anyone who clicks "join this group" instantly becomes a member.
