Jim, I know you are working on forum related things, so here is somethign to put on the back burner:

The quick reply box is nice. But it would be nicer if it would autoparse URLs and make them into links. Pretty picky, so I would give this a priority 0 on a scale of 1 to 10 (with 10 being high priority), but would be something nice. Maybe pass it on to the forum vendor for consideration.

The Quick Reply text box is designed to be the NotePad of text processing. It's very lightweight and 'feature-free'. I'm pretty sure that we'll have to make the change on our site. I agree with the priority you suggested. Email first, most everything else second.
