about changing BS2p IC on BOE

hi,

··· i was just wondering how to change the BS2p IC on board of education. the IC that was on Board got damaged and i need to change it. i couldn't do that. anybody plz help me

    Am I missing something? You simply unplug the chip from the socket and pop in a new one. If you're actually talking about Homework board (BASIC Stamp 2 is built into the board), then you'll have to return it for service. Contact mailto:support@parallax.com

    ····· I have purchased Basic Stamp2 starter kit along with Board of Education.· so i need to just unplug it from socket right. i was concerned because board may get damaged if i remove it improperly. thanks.
