Thought I would show off one of the sequences from my P2 Powered Christmas lights. Every light you see (all 37,000ish of them) is controlled by Parallax P2s.
Some of the songs I drop in the show are are not Christmas related, but are just fun. This year I have KPOP Demon Hunters' Golden.

There are 10 P2's, however, much of that is out of convenience of location and power distribution. This is a simplified diagram of the network topography and components. Each Blitzen 24 has a single P2 Edge and can drive up to 24 x 1020 pixels plus, 4 DMX universes or an additional 4 x 1020 pixels using a long range differential receiver, for a total of 28,560 pixels. The outputs are limited to 1020 pixels to ensure that the framerate of the display can achieve 40FPS.
The ~500 ft (150 meters) of fence is signaled over WiFi using a small mobile router in bridge mode. It's distance from the distribution switch in the yard would be problematic due to the amount of lightening we experience where I live (Tennessee, USA).
