Are Nema23 stepper motors defective?

Hello everyone,
I'm currently building a gantry milling machine. For this, I purchased three nema 34 stepper motors and a TB6560-based oyostepper controller.
Now that I've connected all three motors, I've noticed some strange behavior with one of them:
When starting slowly, it jumps back and forth before running normally. However, its direction of rotation is erratic.
The other two motors run perfectly fine. I then swapped the motors and controllers, but the problematic motor still behaved the same way.
Thus, I can rule out a control error. Measuring the resistance of the connected windings on all motors showed approximately 1.6 ohms.
So, the windings are clearly fine.
My only explanation for this is that the windings of the allegedly faulty motor are wired incorrectly. As I mentioned, these motors are brand new.
Has anyone experienced anything similar?
Thanks in advance

    Hi,
While I have not yet seen this type of behaviour, I often work with step motors. In my opinion this motor is faulty and I would contact the supplier to get another one.
    Good luck!
