Well, the first title just was not right. I had to modify it. You should know, that the bauble bears the sign of VfB and VfB is a very important soccer club in Southern Germany.

You will certainly want to copy this idea, but I must give you a warning:
Due to the complexity of the topic, this is a project, which can only be done with a language, that goes the reverse way and uses at least two stacks. You must do it with Forth, otherwise you will perhaps see some stupid movements but will never have deeper cognitions into the fate of the club.

How it works:
There are two winches driven by 28BYJ-48 geared step motors via their drivers. The diameter of the spools is about 6mm. Speed is 4000 µs per full step. The lengths of the two threads determine the position of the bulb. x-y coordinates have to be transformed. Here we use an old old old method some wise Greek has found. Yes they have been well trained there and then, how to see.

While it is clear and sometimes even obvious, that the movements of the contrivance mirrors the fate of the club, you should be aware, that time can have a different bearing here and also the orientation of the line of mirror might vary. So you will need to take some time to train your interpretation. I would have made these things more easy, but this will need a language with seven stacks. So we have to wait, if the next centuries will bring us such tool.
Yesterday for some moments the apparatus even showed these dramatic weeks in the late 1970s -you will surely remember- but unfortunately a nasty bug in line 63 obscured the vision then.
Unfortunately I cannot share the code but for your favourite club you will anyways have to find it differently of course.
