LCD for BS1

Are there any LCD screen/backpack that is easily compatible with basic stamp 1?

I realize this is a very basic question however it's been 20 plus years since I've messed around with a basic stamp. Any information would be greatly appreciated!

If you've got six pins you can use one of the old-school Hitachi LCDs. You need four pins for data, one pin for E, and one pin for RS. This would be write-only mode.

Look for the BS1 Applications book (written by Scott Edwards). I don't have BS1 code on this computer and am away from home.
