Check out "dance mode" on Chinese BYD's new $230K YangWang EV supercar. The video starts with lowrider-esque movements but the "magic" starts at 0:29 with spin-in-place differential turning. I hear the tires scrubbing, and I can visualize the associated battery, motor, gear and tire wear. Cringey but impressive from a tech/power perspective. My Corvair can't do that yet.

    This is incredibly cringe, but if I was in the market for an overpriced EV, i'd rather go for dance car than polygonal rust bucket.

    If they added tank threads it'd spin better.
