BoeBot always turns left.
Please forgive this newby for posting in the wrong place. My BoeBot car when in IR mode turns left no matter what remote button is pressed. In sketch Sony_IR_Shield_Multi_Bot_v0_8, I inserted a "Serial.println(remoteCode);" following the "int remoteCode=GetIrCode();" at line60. This prints "-1" except on input when it is always "1". I have replaced the IR detector with a known good one - no joy. I tested the Remote and found that the button codes are still the same as they were 10 years ago when I bought my BoeBot.
Has anyone run across a solution or have ideas. Much appreciate your help.

Can you please post the full program.
Are you sure that your wiring is correct?
