There will always be new kids, but it was the BASIC Stamp that really started all the fun.

I was referring to the use of "Stamp." When the BS2 really took off, everyone and their dog was creating something called a "Stamp."
The PIC BASIC compiler was also created after the BASIC Stamp came out.
