Hams: Has anyone done FT8/JTx on a P2?

Before I try to “roll my own”, has anyone done the audio transmit (only) side of a FT8 or JTx device using the P2? I’m kicking around the idea of making a standalone QRP widget that would use one of these weak signal modes to report lat/lon data, and would prefer to have a starting point that isnt on such a steep slope.

    Don't try to send RF from the P2. It'll never pass muster with the FCC. But, sure, use the P2 to send audio data to a legitimate transmitter.

    Yup. I’m only looking for the audio tone generation portion.
