Sounds like you're after something more like unit testing, make sure each part functions as expected, rather than the single target stress testing I was doing.
OnSemi do have a certain level of that. Parallax even fronted OnSemi's equipment repair costs when it went badly wrong once. And Chip has contributed a specific program for the later part of the process.
