Today at 1pm pacific - "P2-485 part 1 of 4" - P2 talking to Advantech RS485 industrial i/o module

During the zoom conference at 1pm Pacific we'll demonstrate a technique for talking to an Advantech industrial RS485 module. This technique relies purely on passive components, and a couple of neat features that are built in to every P2 smart pin.

One requirement for talking RS-485/EIA-485 is to be able to drive at least 1.5volts across a 54 ohm load. Unlike many 3v3 micros the P2 has enough drive to do enable this.

Over coming weeks we'll dig deeper into various aspects and implications, and connect up to various sensors and variable speed drives.
