Why are some forum categories only visible after you sign in ? (solved/fixed)

The title says it all. That missing category when not signed in is ForthSpace. That one I noticed. Also no posts from that category are visible if you are not signed in.
Is it intentional and if so, what is the rationale behind this ?
The interesting thing is, when you search the forums with the category name ForthSpace when you're not logged in, you only find posts in the General Discussion category containing that phrase. On the other hand, if you do the same but search for a specific phrase that was used within the posts in the ForthSpace category, you are able to find the actual posts. No sign in required.
