Parallax RN-42 P/N 30086

I was fiddling with my RN-42 and noticed it dosen't show up on my PC bluetooth devices, but my stamp command program works and it links to my other RN-42. That is my Microchip RN-42 eval, the eval shows up and pairs on my PC but not the Parallax RN-42. Maybe it needs a firmware update, I'll hook it up to my Putty adapter and run the full command, my stamp program runs command mode, AOK, and returns the MAC address.
