Most of the floods are in coastal NSW and QLD so Cluso and Peter Jak are close to the disaster.
Let us hope they are alright.
Although it is mighty wet, Brisbane itself is fine. It's the area south of here that's gone south with this weather, both now and with the bushfires last year.
Yes, mighty wet here too, but we're still fine. Had a surprise 70th for my wife Saturday scheduled for the park. Had to quickly re-organise at our son's place.
Further north between Peter's and our place is not so good tho. Rivers have cut the highways in multiple places. However, many of these places do flood regularly.
But the rain has been really heavy here, and fairly continuous. Going to fine up Wednesday tho so we can dry out a bit then.
At least here is Southern California, heavy rains after a fire tend to cause mudslides or debris flows.
