    Thanks all! I appreciate the wishes. The day started with a call from brother Chip to enlighten me on whatever was on his mind. From that point, I executed keystrokes at a furious pace in an effort to finish up enough Parallax monkey business to get my Smile out the door. Then, I climbed up a mountain and skied down!

    Looking forward to a birthday weekend that includes lots of P2 programming.

    In Europe, at least, and other countries who write dates as DD/MM/YYYY. Here, it's MM/DD/YYYY. But I prefer YYYY/MM/DD, since the digits are in correct order from most-significant to least-significant.

    Yes, YYYYMMDD is my preferred format when using dates as the beginning of filenames or as data items, it makes sorting a lot easier...
