HDMI spiral demo doesn't work via HDMI switch [solved, 5V needed]

I used non overclocked, non modified 640x480 version.
If HDMI cable is connected to the monitor, I can see a spiral
If the cable is connected to 5-port HDMI switch, it cannot detect and transmit any signal from P2
Edit: maybe a 5V line must be connected to the HDMI socket to make this work?

yes, probably the 5V line.
This solved the problem.
Pesky 5v signal strikes again. Yeah they really need to add that to the accessory board, or include a 1k resistor in the pack and some instructions for where to solder it
I soldered a pair of goldpins there so I can attach a jumper when needed. This switch uses 5V to detect the active port and switches to it even when there is no signal.
