Thank you very much for these I2C methods, that's perfect. sorry for misspelling your name.
  • It became a project for amateur radio astronomers that was published in European specialist magazines.
However, since I received a personal message (1) from a forum member, this will be my last post.
    Goodby free america.

I am a Spin programmer. Your pontifications about the superiority of C bore me, so you can keep them to yourself.

  • Hi @Reinhard

    Can we help with anything?

Please email support@parallax.com, send me or @Publison a PM in this forum, or reply to this thread if there's anything that you are not happy with, or would like to ask.

I hope there has not been any mis-communication, but we'd really like to understand and will try our best to help make things right.

If the issue is with @JonnyMac signature, that is something generic expressing his views, and not at all pointed toward you personally. It appears in every thread he posts. I think Jon is as passionate about SPIN as high level C programmers are about C, and his signature is just a reflection of that choice (and probably a little toga-party-esque tongue-in-cheek too).

So many of us would miss your contributions here; I really hope you have not really made your last post Reinhard - maybe just the last one for August 2nd!

  • @Reinhard might has confused the automatic notification for a thread he created with a personal message from @JonnyMac .

    Mike

  • @Reinhard actually seems to be in the same camp as JonnyMac, being a SPIN programmer who isn’t interested in any further advocacy for C; this is their prerogative of course.

I hope Reinhard’s declaration was made in the heat of the moment and that we see them return. We can all learn from each other, even without agreeing on matters of personal preference.

This is the tag line in my signature because I got fed up with C programmers lecturing me on why I should switch to C. That said, I have never sent this as a message to Reinhard or anyone else.

I see that maybe I've gotten Reinhard's position backwards (I knew the line looked familiar but didn't register where it came from.)
That said, I hope that we see a return to regular conversation, as I've never taken your position to be aimed at anyone personally, just at the idea of language tyranny in general.
