I get an error after I do the 'Getting Started' setup tests.
[error: can't find a port with a propeller chip]

looks like it compiled ok(GettingStarted.elf). Now I need to determine how to setup the USB port for the loader to load the program. It may not be able to find the loader program is one possibility.

Have you set yourself up in DIALOUT? No dialout you will not see the prop board.

User management (don't know how it's done in your dist) and add yourself to group dialout . Logout and login again.

Most linux/unix systems would use:

$ sudo adduser user_name dialout

Success thanks, I got it working. I had some hiccups with getting my PATH and cmake variables setup.
