These YX5300 MP3 player modules work great to build into projects, playing MP3 (only) files off a micro SD card using serial commands. Typically $3-4 each, but here they are for a buck. $2 flat rate shipping from China. I just (h)ordered ten for $12 total.

That's dirty cheap. I'm torn between feeling guilty about the bad shipping policies and no-tariff loopholes vs. the sheer pleasure of adding these to my own projects.

I ordered just before posting, and just got a reply that they are "out of stock" and refunding.

Likely a mistake in the price. Sounded too good to be true!

As I expected, he cancelled by order for a buck apiece, claiming no stock, then relisted plenty at $3. Grrrr...
