We were staying at my brother-in-laws place when around dusk we saw something scamper across his lawn. Upon investigation, we saw a koala up in the tree Too dark for a photo unfortunately.

Fantastic! All we have in Torrance are raccoons, friendly (!) skunks, possums, and the occasional coyote.

I've stood on that lawn, eating some smoked salmon and creamy cheese. It's a hidden paradise alright, and I imagine more people from Seattle are trying to move there permanently.

Ken, I hope you will again someday, once this stupid COVID thing has passed.

Sadly, the cheese creamery has gone out of business. But I have a good in with the smoked salmon guy, having built some electronics for the fishing boat he's finishing.
