download demo objects from github

is there a clear instruction anywhere that explains how to do this? I've spent hours I don't have to no avail.
On the old OBEX it was so simple to download the .zip of whatever we were interested in learning.
Now it definitely isn't obvious

Thanks

  • At the moment, the simplest way without using other tools, is probably to download the whole repository in zip format, then unzip on your local machine and grab the files you need.
    1. Visit this link : https://github.com/parallaxinc/propeller
    2. Click the green button "Clone or Download" (it's on the right hand side of the page, above the list of folders/files)
    3. In the dropdown menu that opens when you click that green button, choose "Download Zip"

Once downloaded and unzipped, look in your file system for the files you need, starting here :
    /your zip folder/propeller/libraries/community/p1

  • Okay that's great thank you for your help. The master zip is presently just under 114 mb and it all there.
  • rather= "it's all there".

Just a suggestion, perhaps this info could be placed on the page you now get when you click on OBEX
