in BASIC Stamp
Hi all,
I have a Parallax BS2P24/40 Demo Board that I need to find the docs on. On the back of the board it has a (I think) stock number of 45184. When I search that number or the name of the board on the Parallax site, nothing shows up.
Thank you very much,
Best,
J

The part number of 45184 was a companion kit the was optional with the board
Are you trying to get Javelin module going?
If so you can breadboard it.
The Javelin is entirely different than a BASIC Stamp though they look similiar.
It's programmed in Java not PBASIC.
There was also a Spin Stamp which was a Propeller in a BASIC Stamp module-like format.
Genetix
If he already has a Javelin module he can stick it on a breadboard and use it.
Just like you can with any of the modules.
Javelin is interesting.
Yes, you can breadboard it but why risk the magic smoke escaping.
'Yes, you can breadboard it but why risk the magic smoke escaping. '
Should be just fine if he reads the pinout diagram.
'successfully loading Java'
I would think all you need is the module on a breadboard and the Javelin editor.
Here's the manual.

Sure looks like that is all you do.
Look at Chapter 2 Quickstart.
Here's the editor.

You mean samples?

This is Windows 7 Pro w/8.1 upgrade system.
