Treads and Grippers on a Boe-Bot?

Hello,

I was wondering if the gripper kit would work on a boe-bot w/treads. From the appearances in the photos, it seems as though the two would get in the way of one another. I did try to search the answer to this, but didn't come across the question - possibly poor searching on my part. Sorry for re-asking, if that's the case.

I have the gripper kit, but not the tread kit. I think the front part of the treads might bind against the gripper, and prevent it from fulling opening.
