DFPlayer Mini

Hey everyone, Found this little MP3 player on amazon for $3 "DFPlayer Mini" and was wondering if anybody else was tinkering with it? It seems to work fine except for the serial when I connect it to the prop1 nothing seems to happen. I have had great success with all my other Mp3 modules but I cant seem to crack this one.
