Int-Ball - JEM Kibo's Internal Ball Camera
The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) released its first images taken by the JEM Kibo's Internal Ball Camera, A.K.A. "Int'Ball" from the International Space Station. This camera ball can move autonomously in zero gravity and capture still images as well as video while being controlled remotely by the JAXA Tsukuba Space Center.
It would be interesting if something like this could be replicated on earth; sort of a Ball Drone.
It sure leans heavily on the cuteness factor.
