He's still active here, http://humanoidolabs.blogspot.tw and here http://space1usa.blogspot.tw/
No response to email as of a few months ago.
After the tuff (blank blank blank) he received from other members, without intervention, it is no surprise that he does not come here anymore. Even if it was all fiction, I believe it was a good thing. The man had and has great imagination!
EDIT: I think it is a shame that he is no longer a participant.
EDIT: For those who read this, expand your dreams with the PROPELLER
Exciting! Were you involved in the AP-16+, also?
p.s. it was nice of Bill to give you a shout-out like this.
Glad to see others are working on new boards too!
Humanoido was entertaining (if uninformed)
JonnyMac, I am looking forward to seeing your new board.
As for me, I received my production batch about a week ago, now I need to take photos and write docs...
And drop more tantalizing hints about what the board is for!
Okay, fish on! Tell us about the board, Mr. Henning!
Does it have HyperRAM footprint ?
Yes, I designed the digital side and coded the AP-16+. I did the full design on the AP-8+, John B (who also used to work for Parallax) did the board layout, and I'm doing the coding.
@Bill: When does the tease end and the announcement start?
Seairth: hint... lots and lots of headers for i/o, 12 bit adc
Ken: I think it will sell well, and get more prop's out there
jmg: a hyperram board could be added to its expansion headers, p0-p23 are fully exposed on three 10 pin headers (3v3, GND, 8 sequential prop pins)
JonnyMac: I am working on the photos and announcement ... definitely by Monday, though I'll probably post here on Friday or the weekend
IMHO, P1 is still the king for high speed real time deterministic I/O (at least until P2 shows up)
Still through hole, there are teachers/students/hobbyists out there who want to solder...
That's an eeprom in the upper left (sorry, not hyperram, not ferroram) - rest cropped out for now
So this will be primarily sold as a DIY kit?
Sincerely,
Cranky old guy that sometimes just likes to build kits
Delusional at best -

There are quite a few who left the forums after some argument...
back to work, your pacman game is still unfinished....
