    Hmmm, LOL, I have no idea what my avatar was, but more likely a cat than a bird ... or something exploding. [EDIT: like it is now ... LOL]

    You know it was strange getting back in here - in a good way - I had to create a new account, but I used as much of my old info as I could. The forum software figured out and reconnected my old stuff - impressive. (So my post count wasn't zeroed ... and my old arch nemisises neminsii LOL can find me again. Drats !)

    the avatar might have been - all things are possible - but since the nemonic memory access device has fried, I'm uncertain which timeline I currently inhabit. However, things seemed to have advanced substantially since the mid twentieth century, well beyond stone knives and bear skins, to the Propeller and even Prop2 ...

    there's hope for humanity yet.
