Just got and tested one of these 5V modules, works fine. One control input, normally high, pulse low momentarily to toggle the relay. Just 1024 of these and you can DIY 1K of computer memory, the hard way!

    All you can do is toggle the relay? There is no way to directly set it to a specific state?

    Correct. There's an LED to visually show when the relay coil is energized, also a pushbutton to manually toggle the relay.
