Looking to see if anyone can recommend a box. It will live out doors. does not need to hinge, will screw shut and leave it. Ideally i would like to have it in the 7 x 7 x 7 range. Depth is important. Width and length could be a bit bigger if needed and i need to be able to mount a din rail inside. Any ideas?

Now, you're a professional with this kind of thing. You've worked with all kinds of external environments with electronics. . .

Here is one close to your dimensions:

Truly waterproof enclosures can get expensive, but NEMA ratings are important when you really need them.
Attached is a shot of the project I just completed. Has a Gadget Gangster Propeller Platform USB board in it actually, along with a relay board and power supply. It's a pond pump controller that will be mounted near the pump in an area that will see routine "moisture".

There are a couple there that state a depth of over 7", for example 10.5" x 8.5" x 7.25". However, the interior spec is 6.125". That seems odd. The PC walls can't be that thick. Maybe they include the mounting legs.
I have a Vynkier RVJ1008 here, interior dimensions 10" x 8" x 6.6". Have used that for outside deployments.
FRP (fiberglass reinforced polyester), NEMA 3, 3R, 4, 4X, 12, 13

There are others in that RVJ series that have footprints and depth > 7", all of them $$$!
placed the order. is it possible to get a cut sheet for the box?
How are you doing Ken? I hope the family is well. I need to come out and visit you again sometime.
JB orders those -- I will ask for source so that I can make it available.
