Mouse Scroll Wheel No Worky

Only on this site. Works fine everywhere else. Buttons OK, scroll wheel click no worky either.

Am I cursed?

    Hmm...What OS? What browser?

    No problem here. Chrome, Win 10. Nor on PC with Debian Linux. Or Firefox anywhere.

    Try a different browser. Almost certainly a browser issue on your installation.

    Now that I think about it. The scroll wheel has stopped working in Chrome on Win 10 on this Surface Pro one time or two.

    A reboot fixed it.

    What this machine actually does on any given day is somewhat random.

    That's an issue with the mouse / scroll wheel driver software. It locked. Mouse drivers run at a pretty low level and can't be checked by most of the software we think can keep us safe from malware and other hazards.

    Dang, it just happened again.

    Scroll wheel stops working on forums.parallax.com.

    All the other tabs open in my Chrome at the time still worked fine.

    I checked Chrome's dev tools and there were no weird errors showing up.

    Close the tab and reopen forums.parallax.com in a new tab and all is well again.

    Freeky deeky indeedy.

    I just started having the same problem Windows 7 PRO. I can close the tab, and re-open a new tab and the scroll feature works again. Only on this site, weird.

    Now Chrome has two tabs that have lost scroll, but forums.parallax.com is not among them. This works fine...
    Here, tab 6 and tab 12 have lost mouse wheel, but otherwise work. All other tabs are fine. (Win10)

    Funnily enough. My mouse scroll wheel on this MS Surface Pro Win 10 machine and Chrome has just stopped working on the Raspberrypi.org forum.

    Still works fine here though.

    What is going on?

    Chrome must have some flag per tab that enables the scroll wheel, (that is flaky), tho why they would do that is unclear ?
    On mine it seems more prone to lock-out, if scrolling while refreshing images. Always ok here, but not 2 other 'ebay-type' sites (more images?).

    I don't know.

    This Win 10 machine does something different everyday. Always full of surprises.

    None of which I ordered of course.

    Whatever happened to the idea that computers do what you tell them?
