When the balance has been payed off, you better get this garbage off of my car. I guess it would be better than a confrontation with the repo man.

But there's other, more troubling technology as work here, and that's the ignition interlock. Because it obviously works by remote, and remote computing devices are targets for hacking, it stands to reason it's hackable.
Looks like a popular trend.
If this can be added to a vehicle, it can be subtracted from that vehicle.
I know if somehow my payment was lost or misdirected, and I had a family emergency, and some over zealous car dealer shut my vehicle down when I really needed it, there will certainly be a law suit. And that would only depend on me calming down enough to file one.
This business of GPS tracking should be un-constitutional. Except where known criminal activity is occurring. People will sign off on almost anything to get the car they want. I would not want my privacy interfered with, if I had full intention of being honest, and sending in my payment on time.
