Hello All,

Is anyone else getting an access denied error to this link? http://learn.parallax.com/tutorials/language/propeller-c/parallax-wx-wi-fi-module-prop-c
I'm playing around with my wifi module and am looking to access some of the circuits. I found the link in one of the propeller c example files on the github.

I get the same error, but there is no problem with downloading files from there. Did you try?

Trying to check that link.... where did you get it from? Is that posted on a website somewhere?

This is where I found the link. I am trying to get this example to function but I wasn't sure if there was any other circuitry involved or if it was just power, ground, and the data lines. I'm using a quickstart board if that helps.

I think this is still work in progress. It seems to go along with the long awaited programing of the Activity Board WX via WIFI. I heard rumors that it's not to far off.

OK, maybe I'll just wait a bit then until it's more refined! I'm not real familiar with the C language anyway so that doesn't help either haha.

Yup, I'm a SPIN man too, but C is getting more familiar now since there are many programs available now.

Access denied indicates a page or section which is not available to the public. This is not an error.

The example files and firmware for Propeller C with the Wi-Fi Module were included in the last update so Propeller C early adopters could get started before our documentation was completed. Guides and tutorials will be posted when available.

Courtney, I think it's all about projecting a friendly face. "Access denied" (HTTP 401) is a bit stern and alienating. Linking to an "Under construction" page while the real page is being finalized would be much better.

Had some fun with that link, could only get screenshots though, shared it with family. With the site making a unique link to your creations, makes me wonder what they are collecting.

It's not a unique link actually, in the sense that they create it. The text following the '?' is a list of parameters to the CGI script - the link is always the same, atom.smasher.org/construction/

But you can create your own link by pasting the full string into tinyurl or one of the other link creating sites.
